As she began to speak, he felt his mind flood with memories. Eyes widening slightly, he let out a short laugh, pointing at her. "You were a little girl!" he crowed, seemingly shocked by this revelation. "You were this high, eh?" He held out a hand not far from his hip, looking down at the ground. "And you were standing in the market, where there was that old heavy woman selling orange!"
Clapping his hands with delight, Diego nodded. "Yes, I remember you. I was very young and foolish, too, just beginning to see the world. And we had ice cream, didn't we?" Chuckling, he took a slight step back, shaking his head in disbelief and running a hand over his vaguely stubbled jaw. "Oh, you have gotten so big! You're a woman now!"
