Hannah knew Nick was just as worried as she was, and together they might be able to figure out what was going on with Boyd better than either of them could on their own. If they really were going to look out for each other, it had to go both ways. "You'll get there eventually," she said, completely confident in the fact that he would. "Just keep taking it in steps, and you'll see."

She hesitated, not wanting to make him worry on top of everything else he was going through, but she couldn't help it. "We'll figure out what's going on with Boyd. I'm sure you noticed it too - but if half of the things she's gone through are true, then she's tough."
