Cole made a mental note to stock up on crucifixes and garlic - holy water might be useful too - as well as silver and wolfsbane. Shane wasn't quite a werewolf in the traditional sense, but it couldn't hurt. Now was no time to be discounting legend, considering the circumstances. Aside from the dangers of fables, he could only think of one person who might want to hurt Ileana - whoever was leaving him the notes, since it was probably the same person who'd sent her the threatening note before. Still, that was something he had no intentions of telling her. It was his problem and he wasn't giving her another thing to worry about. "Sounds fair."
One more fable to add to the list - once things died down, he'd have to let Ella know and get started on that pamphlet Evie had requested. "The Frog Prince isn't so bad, although turning into a frog isn't very helpful." He frowned, puzzled by her comment. "What do you mean, ripped off a prince?"
He laughed, shrugging. "Good point. You'd have to grow out your hair a little longer, but I think it could work. We could surround the tower with crosses and garlic, too."
