Deirdre sat near him, but not too close as to be overly forward, keeping a respectable distance between them. "I've been reading the forums from time to time, I do admit it. Rarely commenting, of course, but they are helpful in knowing one's neighbors and what to expect from them." She paused just long enough to smirk slightly. "And I'm certain I've seen comments from the very people said to be beasts and wolves. Even had a brief conversation with one. Which would be nearly impossible for them if they were animals at the time."
Deirdre was surprisingly satisfied with Vlad as a guest. He was polite, didn't seem to overstep his welcome as so many people she'd known did. She finally reached over to pour the wine into the waiting glasses as she smiled. "Business is good. I wouldn't be relaxing at home if it wasn't, you can be assured." She handed one of the glasses over to him, claiming the other as her own as she sat back and relaxed the slightest fraction. "As I'm guessing your own occupation must be, if you're also free at this time of the day?" She couldn't remember hearing what Vlad did for a living, and hoped her question didn't seem like prying.
