Deirdre smiled softly and leaned in to give Jack a quick peck on the cheek. "As do you, Jack. As always." She stepped inside, throwing a quick glance around the room before turning back to him. "And you've always tried your lines on me before, I don't know why today should be any different." She tried to keep the mood light even if her heart wasn't in it.
It was good to see him again, though. As worried as she'd been, actually having him in front of her was somehow comforting. Amazing what a familiar face could do.
She thought about the question for a moment before shaking her head. "Surprise me. I don't want to make any decisions right now." After a pause, she laughed softly, mostly to herself. "Nothing too strong though. Don't break out the tequila shots yet."
