John watched the kid move. Yeah, so he wasn't great with a knife, but few people were when they first picked one up with the intent to hack and slash away at another human being. And he was a quick study, it seemed.
"Not bad," John said after Cole had run through the move a few more times. "Yeah, when you get home, line up a pillow to your body and mark it. Here." He tapped his own rib cage. "Lemme grab a skillet and then we'll wrap it up, how's that sound?" he asked as he headed into the kitchen. "I dunno how much time you've got or anything, so if you need to go, don't let me hold you up."
