"I'm very lucky," Ileana agreed, "I just don't get it. Like, why us? Why, of all things, are we stories? It's all getting crazier and just...I dunno. I wonder if it's just us cause of the building itself or what."
Relaxing against Cole as he draped his arm around her, Ileana shrugged a little as she said, "It's a little scary to think that so much is possible in this building. Then we have to try to go out of here and pretend like we live in a normal building, cause you can't tell your boss how you were bit by a vampire or anything. I'd hate to think that any...weirder things could happen." Or scarier things was all implied.
She giggled softly before she fell silent again, resting her head on Cole for a moment. Turning her gaze to Cole as he spoke, Ileana gave a soft, fond smile up at him. "I could say the same to you. How about we try to avoid vampires and wolves now, huh?"
There was a moment of brief hesitation before she leaned up to kiss him softly, letting the kiss linger for a moment longer than their usual brief kisses.
