“Well, Ichabod is a wonderful host though. I suppose you could learn something from him,” Ileana teased with a soft giggle punctuating the end of her sentence. Following him in to the kitchen, she leaned against the doorframe and watched Cole with soft eyes. If Cole felt guilty for Saturday, Ileana didn’t share those feelings at all. Just a happy sense of warmth and an assured thankfulness that Cole was there when she needed someone once again.
“I know. I just feel bad, cause I know what time your alarm goes off, you know?” She explained. “Besides, I only come over to end up falling asleep on you. It’s terrible for conversation.”
