It was a repetitive song, with more call and answer than appropriate for a solo piece. But her mouth did tug into a smile as she went further into the piece - she'd quite like to wash him out of her mind. Permanently. Or at least, the part where he talked to her.
Focusing on that, rather than the fact that she was singing did make it easier and less paranoid that every sound was off. By the time she got to the end, with the triumphant refrain she sounded nearly confident.
