Was it her imagination that it was slightly more muffled? Probably, she decided, letting her hands fall. Her eyes remained shut as she tried to block it out and the panicking thoughts that followed. It couldn't be anything other than the voice she usually heard.
It would have been nice if she had a way to place where in Christine’s life those words belonged. Right now, they seemed directed at her and the voice never did reply directly towards her. Always to something unspoken...Lotte frowned.
Voice shaking slightly, she did manage to be louder. “It’s not real. I’m not crazy.” There was more than enough proof for that otherwise. “Which means I’m not hearing you. You’re not there.” She paused, taking a deep breath. “Alright?”
She hadn’t tried talking directly to the voices since they started. She bit her lip, mind moving to where her prescription was. It was empty and Valerie wasn’t talking to her, but there should be someone that could fill it…
