A lot of his nervous rambling was finally familiar and she couldn't help but to smile a little. "It's all right, Cole. I figure this," she gestured to her neck, "was a little more important than a change of clothes. And as long as it keeps everything covered, I don't mind."
She hesitated after she slipped in to the bathroom. There was no way she was able to get this off without pulling it over her head, which was disgusting thought in the first place with the heavy feel of blood in the cloth. The other problem was she wasn't sure she could get it off without at least a little bit of help with her arm in pain. Ileana untied the apron with her good hand and set it on the bathroom counter, hesitating before she poked her head out of the bathroom.
"Cole?" She hoped he wouldn't get awkward about this. Ileana could clearly remember that he was definitely likely to. "I might need a little help with, um...getting this off?"
