The movement and snorting made Ella come to her feet, and she went as far as the bedroom door initially, where she peered down the hallway in concern. Gauze was forgotten, Rosalie's instructions ignored and blood from her shoulders began to stain the shirt she was wearing. It stung, but she was so focused on what was happening in the living room that she barely noticed the discomfort.
"Be careful," she called to Rosalie, stepping just out of the perceived safety of the bedroom. "He's probably like a wounded animal, which means he'll lash out if something hurts him, even if he doesn't mean to," she said, adding very, very softly, a little uncertain about actually talking to the Beast. "She doesn't mean to hurt you."
