Ella had sat down on the couch when Rosalie helped her to it, but she hadn't lain down as the other woman had asked her to. "No, I don't mean Rosalie. I know that's your name-" she was going to say here, but that didn't seem exactly right either. "You can't touch anything sharp," she pointed out, almost getting up from the couch, but wincing at the pain in her shoulders when she went to push up from it.
She stayed where she was, or she did until she heard the Beast coming. Then, she was on her feet and in the corner in a flash, pain be damned. When she heard him enter the apartment, she peeked out from behind one of the bookshelves in the far corner of the room. She didn't have the inclination to run, precisely, and she was curious. She just felt safer being curious in the corner, even if she was feeling a little lightheaded just now.
