When the girl spoke, Katya turned, a piping hot teapot in hand and a toothy smile on her face. "Did you?" she inquired, looking over the apartment. Everything appeared in order, all nice and neat, and she made a quiet noise of content. "So you have."
Katya poured the young woman another cup of tea and topped off her own mug. "Da, now you will do two more things for me." She grinned. "But they will be hard. You will probably die," she said, and her tone made it sound as though she were talking about the weather. "I need two things. First, you will be getting me the blood of a vampire."
With a delighted smile fixed firmly on her wrinkly face, she picked up her mug. "If you need to be finding me, I will be on stairwell with tea." She ushered the young woman out of her home, and the door vanished behind them. "Off with you," she said as she settled on the stairway landing, sipping her tea and trying to decide what to do with herself to occupy her time.
