Locking the door was a good idea in Lotte's mind. An excellent one, especially with the evidence in front of her of crimes. She swallowed hard before pulling James to a chair. "You shouldn't be standing - is it just there?" Her hand reached forward to air-touch before shrinking back. "Ice? Even if it was last night..."
There was the question of why James didn't come the night before. Lotte's lips pressed together - she wanted to know why, couldn't she be trusted? Couldn't she be helpful? - but she didn't ask her questions. With the sunglasses up James looked worse.
Usually James was the one who had things put together. Seeing her like this...it made her heart break.
"I should have given you back your spray," Lotte said remembering. "Did you report it?" Anything?
