Rosalie absentmindedly rubbed the side of her face with her hand and shook her head. "I'll go home," she told him tiredly. If they had been back at Bellum, she might have stayed until he was back to normal (whatever normal was for Daniel), but she was an hour out from the city and Boyd had taken the make-up she needed to cover up her bruises again, and she was pretty sure (she hoped, at least) that whatever anger and fear Vaughn had set into him again would lessen some, over a couple days.
She knew from what Daniel had been yelling last night, that he considered her and Boyd to not be taking Vaughn seriously. However, Rosalie had no doubt that Vaugh wanted to kill her and would do so if she knew she was still talking to Daniel, but the threat wasn't new, to her or to Boyd, and it hadn't changed what they were doing so far.
