She hesitated, her preplanned vague reply dying on her lips. Keeping things to herself was something she'd become used to, due to a combination of people not listening and her own inability to put things into words. The last time she'd bottled things up inside, though, it hadn't ended very well.
Maybe she could tell Daisy what happened without actually telling her. She didn't have to give names, or even go into detail, and it might be enough to get the weight off her shoulders at least a little. "No, I..."
