Daisy made a face. "I wish. No, mostly they warn about what men to avoid." Her eyes grew wide and leaned forward, confiding. "Wolves in sheep's clothing, one woman said. First, it seems like married men always cheat, and most of these women were the mistresses before they became wives." Unable to wait any longer, Daisy opened the box of cupcakes and dove for one, then pushed the box toward Hannah.
"They usually tell me to be grateful for my youth, and to consider myself lucky to be single, and to not rub so hard." The last bit made Daisy giggle, and she shrugged apologetically. "What I really love is when they forget about me, and they talk about who they're having affairs with...It's shocking."
