"I'm coming, I'm coming!" she insisted over the phone. The elevator was taking it's sweet time, as usual, but at least it was moving. That was all she could really ask of it. The second it hit the lobby floor and the doors opened she bounded out, the cooler temperatures barely registering as she moved quickly.
She could see her friend through the doors' glass and she waved as she went outside. "Ki!" Her happy exclamation was quickly cut short as now there was really no ignoring the cold. Dressed in a simple pair of pants and a long sleeved shirt that still fell at one shoulder, Helena cursed herself quietly for not remembering a coat. Her arms folded across her chest tightly and she jogged down the steps to her friend. "Oh, you just had to surprise me, didn't you" she teased before pulling her friend into a tight hug, making sure to leave enough breathing room for poor little Quincey.
