Who: Daniel and Vlad What: Guess what, Daniel: you're leaving. Where: R1 When: After this. Warnings: Cursing, maybe?
Vlad didn't go up to see Daniel immediately. He waited, taking some time to think and run through various scenarios before he met with him face-to-face to tell him about Boyd's idea. Of course, he wasn't going to tell Daniel that it was entirely of her making - no, he needed to present it as a united effort, headed by none other than himself. Like it or not, he was the one who constantly found himself in charge; and despite what Ella and Boyd might say, everything would fall apart if he decided to refuse to help them any longer.
He would be safe in this place, this Piedmont Village; far away from Vaughn and prying eyes. He needed a place where he could be on his own without the constant threat of death hanging over his head.
Besides, with him gone there was nothing standing between Vaughn and the rest of them. The fact that she wouldn't be able to reach Daniel would anger her, and it was that anger which would eventually cause her to reveal herself. When that happened, the end would come. If he had anything to say about it, however, it would not come quickly.
He went up to R1 knowing that he couldn't leave until Daniel agreed, even reluctantly, to go. Wishing he still had the keys, he knocked on the door, waiting.
