Liam took a step backward, his head tilted downward to get a better look at Hannah with a soft, apologetic smile. "Of course I did, Hannah-banana. As I said- you, well, you deserve to smile." He hugged the chocolate to his chest and led the way into the nearby living room. The box was then placed upon the table at the right side of the couch.
Emery was loving every moment to himself in the apartment. He enjoyed meeting new people, the sights, the sounds, and even the strange smells that occasionally wafted through his windows. It was the ideal fresh start for Emery, and even more ideal now that he was aware of Hannah's presence in the building. Liam, on the other hand, held a different fascination.
"I am, actually. Oh yes. It's... different, you know? Everyone's so... well, I won't necessarily call them eccentric, but they- they are a funny sort of people. But I suppose that just means I fit right in, doesn't it?" He attempted to laugh, but the noise only left his mouth in a short, nervous 'heh'. "A-are you thirsty, Hannah? Hungry, maybe? Can I... get you anything? It would be no trouble, really."
Liam had a few ideas of his own as to what he could give her.
