He pulled a face, smiling sheepishly. "Meaning I'm the only one who would probably starve if it wasn't for take-out?" Usually he made a point of keeping his books organized, but as of late they'd sort of ended up scattered: on tables, chairs, and even in the kitchen.
"Thanks. It's all I need, really." Cole eyed the food and made his way into the kitchen, clearing space on the counter. "You can just leave them here. At least now I have lunch and dinner for a couple days."
He hated awkward silences, so he made a point to keep talking. "So. Um-- how are you? How's your sister?"
