Hey. So, I'm not entirely sure why I'm feeling compelled to air my dirty laundry, but I'm sure everyone has heard by now that Lena moved out. Or left me. Or both. I'm...Anyway, there are rumors here and there about who she's keeping company with. I don't know the gory details and right now I don't really want to know.

I just...With everyone talking about the full moon and everything that's coming our way, I will probably need your help. I realize that I can't control what Lena Kelly does or who she wants to spend her time with. But sooner or later she's going to be Mina Harker and she's going to need my help, and if I'm going to help her I'm going to need your help. If you want to stop by for coffee or a beer or something, maybe we can talk. I'm free all the time because I'm also unemployed.

Well, isn't this just the darndest thing! Whenever I move somewhere new, I never get to talk to some of my neighbors, and now I can talk to all of ya'al! Fancy that! I near poked my nose in all these halls trying to get a good feel of the place, but don't mind me, sweet things, I'm just nosy Faith Turner.

Now, in an effort to make a great first impression, I made some cherry pie, so stop on by if you got the time! My pie's a blue ribbon winner, so you'll want a slice. Go to the room with all the boxes in front since I'm still in the process of moving in, don't mind my mess. ♥

I must admit, this is the first time I've ever seen an apartment building have their own forum. Quite useful. Unusual, but useful.

I've just moved in last week, so you'll have to pardon my ignorance about the goings on here. And to that fellow who tripped over the yowling creature I call Sylvie, I must apologise. I wish I could assure you that she meant no harm in tripping you up and causing that fall down the stairs, but honestly, I can't do that. She's a feisty little hellcat and enjoys being appeased with copious amounts of those treats that come in a can. What can I say. She's no gourmet.

I wanted to say I was sorry about the other evening when you came by. It had been a very long day that consisted of two root canals and a conflict with a relative back in Texas. Speaking of Texas, if my Mama knew that I had barely spoken up when you visited our home she'd smack me right upside the head. I blame the vicodin and the fact that men are terribly high maintenance when it comes to pain.

Thank you for taking Lena out that night, I'm pretty sure hanging around with me would have been pretty damn boring for her! I'd have been wimpering for soup and ice cream all night. I'm glad she got to go out and have a good time with you instead of putting up with her whiny husband.

However, to make up for my rotten behavior I was wondering if I could entice you over for a couple of cocktails and dinner. I'll cook and everything (what kind of food do you like?? I'm pretty handy in a kitchen!), and I promise I'll leave the vicodin in the medicine cabinet :-)

So this dick on the forum claims he fucking 'saved' me the night of all that bullshit. Is that true?? Because if he did, he's a real asshole, and I really wish he just hadn't. Also, did he see me naked, because I woke up in a different dress than the one from that night, and I'm going to be really fucking pissed if he was the one who changed me. Who the fuck is he, anyway?

Is anyone missing any property after the blackout?

Out of idle curiosity, was anyone else accosted during the blackout? If it was one of you, I would like to know so we don't cross paths again.

We will not discuss the gasp of horror when our appliances went on the fritz right before my normally quiet and reserved wife (who is a closet-case nosy neighbor) was settling in to read everyone's business. She actually screamed.

In retrospect it's probably a good thing our poker night was canceled. I can't imagine our friends would be thrilled with the suddenly possessed electronics freaking out on top of everything else they seem to have a problem with around here. Especially considering poker night usually collapses into a frenzy of drunken rock band (for the record: never let Lena be the drummer for The Offspring when she's had more than one glass of Syrah).

I've decided to look on the bright side and take Lena out on Saturday night; if anyone has any ideas we'd be down to visit a new place. And yes, China is already on the list. We visited yesterday, had a lovely time. I feel like I should thank one or some of you for getting me laid on a work night.
