I'm afraid my newness in the area has left me at a disadvantage. What are some of the recommended attractions and sights to see in the area? Or even in a two hour drive? I have a friend coming from out of town as well and I need some diversions for him, as we talk business.

Good enough excuse, for trying out these new supplies, if we have cameras here.

The real estate agent never told me how absolutely charming this place was. If you like that sort of thing, that is. It's quite... quaint. I suppose it grows on you, doesn't it?

In case it wasn't already blatantly obvious, I've just moved in. My wife will be joining me in the near future, but until then it'll just be me, myself, and I settling in among the rest of you. I'm Lucas, but feel free to call me awesome, I really don't mind at all. I'll be working out of my home here for the near future until I can establish myself in the city. If anyone has any advice on how a man can get to know the best people around here, do let me know. I'd be forever grateful.

If there's anything you need or if you just want some good conversation, feel free to stop by D2. I'll be busy unpacking for a few days and company is always appreciated.

Jesus Tapdancing Christ! Where the hell have I been? Rhetorical question. I actually plead the fifth regarding my existence for the past however many hours I've been locked in a laboratory with my head up my ass piss drunk gone.

Since everyone is thrilled to see and hear from me once more, I have decided to host a classy get-together for all of my dear friends here. Where and when can be decided at a later date, but for now we can just pick a theme.

Options:

- Recapturing Lost Innocence. Remember those days of your dewy and glowing virginity? ...no? Neither do I. For this party, you'd arrive with someone who wasn't your current partner. If you don't have a partner then just grab someone off the street, it's fine.

- ABC Party. Stands for Anything But Clothes. I'm not talking nakedness because getting arrested is not on the agenda and, well, some of you really need to keep your clothes on for the sake of my retinas. But obviously creativity comes into play here.

- Rave Party. Blacklights, florescent colors, glowsticks. What's to hate about this?

- Wine and Cheese from Around the World. Nerds only.

That's just something to ponder. For those who don't know who I am, I'm Samuel but no one calls me that anymore so Sam is fine. It's shorter and rolls off the tongue easier. I don't do anything like tarot cards or palm readings or seances; I'm actually a scientist of sorts so I can appreciate mental disturbances. It will help me fit in really well around here. You may have also seen me around at various benefits and other charity events - I believe in giving back to the community, and I have a few causes I am strongly devoted to but I don't like to make a big deal out of it. Anyway, I'm sure I'll be seeing you all around at some point. Try not to burn the building down - those stairs can be tricky to navigate when your pants are on fire.

My name is Esme Grigore.

There is no need to explain to me the nature of this place - I know it well enough, and the changes in it have already been told to me by my sister in 1203. I have also been told that, on the full moon night several months ago, she was harmed.

I would like to say, just to be clear, that if anyone sees fit to do her harm again, on a full, waxing, waning, or new moon, they will have me to reckon with.

That aside.

Reading the tarot is my business, and you'll find my readings more accurate than your average new age street woman with a veil and a deck of new cards that she thinks make her qualified. If you would like to schedule a reading, you need only contact me.

I would like to settle here with a minimum of trouble. Leave me be, and I will do the same for you. you know who you are

I'm left to wonder if things get better, in a place like this.

Did you settle in alright?

It seems I'm a little late to volunteer, but if you still need participants for your tribunal, I am fairly new and don't know any of the people that seem to be involved.

I still owe you a drink, I think. unless i'm not to be trusted

Well, aren't these intriguing. I never knew the internet could provide such entertainment. I normally use my computer for business alone and even that's disturbing. What happened to the days where we valued face-to-face meetings? The warmth of a handshake, the honesty in eye-contact, the sound of someone's voice - don't these add up something that cannot be replicated by the internet?

Granted, you're all amusing. I've only paged through the last few posts or so. I've been a bit busy moving in, checking out the place and so on. I should be settled by the next business week - I did find a hardly trustworthy construction worker to help with the remodeling. Whoever was here last did a poor job of cleaning it when they left; there's mold everywhere.

Of course I'm sure you'd all rather hear about something other than my moving in process. My most sincere apologies to my neighbors though - if the noise is too bothersome, let me know when a better time to work on repairs would be. I'll have my man come by then instead.

Is there a way around this? It'll help in the long run, I suppose.

In case I forgot to mention it - I believe I didn't - I'm Xavier. I'd say it's a pleasure to meet you all but I technically haven't yet and I have a dislike of liars. Once we meet in person, I'm sure I can say it more satisfactorily. If you can find me, that is.
