She found the note after going out to ship Daniel's package, and she nudged the door open with her shoulder as she picked it up. She looked at the handwriting first, because she liked to notice things like that, and when she opened it, she smiled.
She wasn't good enough to play anything on any instrument. She'd never learned how to play anything beyond Chopsticks on a piano. She didn't even know what the notes on the paper coincided to in sound, but she smiled regardless.
He'd written music.
Her smile grew, and she looked almost smugly pleased with herself, because, well, she was. Maybe pushing wasn't so bad after all, was it Ed?
She'd have to find someone to play it for her. Better yet...
She scribbled a return note, and she slipped it under his door much later that night, after the memories had passed, after everyone was asleep.
Record it for me? Play one part with your good hand, while you record, then play the second part over it. All you need is some computer software, I think.
