What. The. Fuck?

You've got to be kidding me, that voice post wasn't real was it? Just a...belated Halloween prank? I mean the landlord's an asshole, but he's not...he wouldn't...

Right?

Oh God, this place is so fucked up.

On top of that, I finally met my next door neighbor, Montgomery, and turns out she was leaving the damn place because someone's after her. As in, to kill her. And apparently that person lives on my floor. How does anyone keep living here? The rent isn't that great, considering all the, you know, violence and stabbings that keep happening.

Your next door neighbor? That would be... 1002, yes?

Yeah, 1002. The only neighbor I have...well, not anymore I suppose. She left, barely took anything with her. She seemed really freaked out.

Do you know who lives on my floor other than her, Boyd, and that good-looking blond guy? I don't think either of them are anywhere near capable of hunting down a neighbor, but she said the one responsible for hurting that guy on the roof and going after her lived on our floor.

She left the building?

There is a woman named Fern in 1003, I believe, but she hardly seems capable of such a thing. Still, appearances can be deceiving.

Yeah, a few days ago. In the middle of the night too, I was going at like 3:30 am. Left me with a fifth of Grey Goose, pretty nice woman. If a bit paranoid.

Haven't met Fern yet...But yeah, you never know. Creepy.

Well. Let us hope that she is safe, wherever she may be.

As for the Landlord, I regret to inform you that what he said was very much true. Whether he was directly involved, however, is another question altogether.

Agreed. I just...I wish I'd gotten to know her before she left. It's kind of scary that this whole bullshit has spread so far it's reached my neighbor.

Oh God. That's just...I...

[P3/1001]

Do you know how we'd go about finding how he was involved? I'm not usually one for investigations but he's such a fucking dick, and if he actually killed some poor innocent man over someone else's craziness, he deserves to go to jail. Forever.

I already investigated the man's death, and everything the Landlord said was true. He was having dinner with his wife when he collapsed suddenly, was rushed to the ER, and pronounced dead on arrival. A brain aneurysm was listed as the cause of death.

How he was involved will be difficult to discover. We would need proof that he did something to that man in order to cause an aneurysm, to begin with.

How did the landlord know this? Does he know the man? The way he talked about the whole situation, it was like he was telling us what was going to happen, not what did. It's eerie.

I tried searching on the internet, but obviously came up with nothing. What sort of person would know information like how to cause an aneurysm?

And do you know if he--he being the poor teacher--had any symptoms before that would lead to an aneurysm? Loss of balance, sudden changes in behavior, speech complications?

He seems to know many things that he should not. I admit, however, that I did look into the man's death some time after the post was made.

Aneurysms can be caused by a number of things. The only thing I can think of that he could have had any role in was some sort of head trauma.

That, I do not know. My contacts only go so far. From the voice post, if it is indeed true, he sounded perfectly fine.

Are there other examples of this, or do you just mean in this case?

Well--yes. But there's no way to simply create a brain aneurysm right? Even with head trauma, there's no guarantee of brain aneurysm, or even any serious damage.

How did the landlord even know to tape them? Where'd he get that recording? I just don't understand how he could have known.

I am almost positive there are other examples.

No. There is no rational explanation for how the Landlord could have created a brain aneurysm. Rational, however, does not seem to be a commonly used word in this building.

I do not know. He is not exactly forthcoming with his answers.

...That is. That is mind-boggling. This complex stretches the very limits of my imagination.

I'm beginning to realize that, yes.

Is he using some kind of voo-doo magic, then? Not a rational answer, but I guess we're not going to find a rational answer to this question.

1001? Then Montgomery is I wouldn't be too concerned about 'Montgomery.' She can take care of herself.
