Presents for All
[ These packages are all dropped off in the afternoon on Friday, August 6 ]
A cardboard box is left outside 1004. It's medium in size, held shut with duct tape. On the lid, "For: Hannah" is written in black sharpie. The box contains the following:
- A handwritten note written on computer paper in black ink. - A Taser. - Three charges - one already loaded into the Taser and two included. - A custom holster designed to hold the Taser against a limb.
The Taser is a copy of the C2 civilian Taser design. It's six inches long and very light. It's shaped much like an electric razor, with a slight bend midway for grip. Its two-tone color scheme is composed of two blues - one midnight blue and one powder blue.
The included note reads: Because every princess needs a little bit of firepower. Just in case the boogeyman is stupid enough to think he's got the drop on the closest thing this building has to Xena.

The battery will last longer than you need it to. One charge is already loaded. Charges snap in and out pretty easily, you'll see how to do it.

The included note reads: Russell,
I know you probably don't want to think about this after everything that's happened, but things in this building aren't getting any better. It's like one of those old-school psychology experiments, where things start to go wrong and then just nosedive because people panic. Now maybe this is just panic. Maybe I'm not being any better than the rest of the crazies that beat each other up and snack on each other. But I'd rather be a crazy psycho with intact friends than a sane lady with a bunch of urns.
Whatever happens, I want you to keep this with you and use it if it's necessary. I won't pretend to know what's going to happen, or to even know what's best. But I know how to make a working Taser, and I know that I don't want to see a forum post saying that someone found a lanky brunette with fang marks in his neck, all balled-up in the stairwell.
I know it's unusual for the First Mate to be worried about the Captain's well-being, but Bellum is pretty unusual. Just promise me that you'll take care of yourself. I don't want to have to tell Rex Chester Smithington that his creator got eaten by a shark. It would break his heart.
