Re: 2/2 There’s a long pause as he stares into the camera before pulling back, running both hands in succession through his hair. “If it was me? If he was my friend, who tricked me like this?” He shakes his head, expression grim. “He would be gone. Friends don’t do that. You have had a hard life, Lotte. You’ve gone through so much. But you came out, strong!” He holds up a clenched fist, shaking it twice. “You cannot forget that. Whenever you are in trouble, when you think you’re going to die or when you feel like the world has turned its back on you. You just need to think back, and remember this. Remember your strength, remember that it is not always the end! Sometimes it’s just the beginning!”
Leaning back in his chair, he looks down for a moment, twisting the chair idly from side to side. “People are wonderful, but they can be dangerous. Never underestimate yourself, just the same way you would never underestimate any other, eh?” He offers a thin smile. “I hope that this…rambling, has been able to help in some way. I will of course elaborate, or say more if you like. This is not the end of our correspondence. And if you ever need, I would be happy to fly you anywhere. You will always have a place in my mother and father’s house.”
After a moment’s pause, he leans forward, face extremely close to the camera. “Good luck, Lotte.” The video cuts to black.
