Well, after what happened...
I like getting to know the people I live with, or at least to be acquainted with them. I've done the extremes, where I've lived in a college dorm (more like an apartment complex.) knowing, or being acquainted with the entire building. Then of course, living in an apartment complex (the one before this.) where people kept to themselves. They were actually a little mean.
