Vlad,
I'm so glad to hear from you. I agree that this whole thing is very coincidental, but I'm learning that nothing is truly a coincidence. Things happen for a reason, or so I like to believe. I'm just as surprised as you are - and you weren't the one that saw me. I thought I was going crazy, I tell you.
That's wonderful. No, you don't have to apologize for not responding. I never really expected you to. Like I said, it was a little ritual for me. I was so inexperienced when we met, and my first time had been just...messy. Poorly done. It was sloppy work, and I'm embarrassed of it. You are somebody to learn from. I learned so much, and I guess that's why I felt compelled to write you. I hope it wasn't a bother or worry.
I've been well. Business as usual, really. It pains me to say that I'm not very interesting. My day-to-day life is monotonous. But all work and no play makes Max a dull boy. How about yourself? How long have you been in this building? If you've been here a while, are there any peculiarities I should know about? I thought I heard a mouse earlier and am a bit concerned that this place's low rent is because of pest problems.
If the pests are larger than mice, though, then I just might have found a way to kill some time.
