Hi. I haven't introduced myself to you yet, but I wanted to say that your perspective on the anonymous posts makes sense. Anonymity gives people the freedom to say many things that they might not ever say otherwise. Unfortunately, that freedom seems to encourage a lot of negativity.
I know that there are safety concerns and that many in the building are justified in wanting to share information and ask questions in a way that might prevent retaliation. But the forum doesn't seem to function in that way.
It's unfortunate that the tool we have that might help people find support and safety gets used in such a divisive way.
Sorry for the rambling message and a belated welcome! It might good that you are uncomfortable. Getting comfortable around here might actually be dangerous. It seems we all need to be on edge. --- Don't say that Ed it sounds like more negativity. Which isn't the point.
