I am not saying that you do not care about Daniel, Boyd; nor am I saying that you are weak or any of the things you believe I tend to imply. However, I think I would be able to convince him this is for the best on my own.
Do not accuse me of shutting you out. We all agree that we need to do what is best for Daniel, and I know that I can override any objections he may have. I can be firm, even harsh, if need be.
If you want him to go without us having to drag him there, then I need to speak to him alone.
