The whole pregnancy thing was quite the mess and the news had not fully sunk in for Ry but he knew that would come with time. He could panic later when Ju was not in the room because she didn’t need to deal with that too. Ry was a bundle of issues and he fully accepted that, unlike his stupid twin who tried to pretend he was all wonderful. Please, Ry knew that was so far from the truth it was nearly laughable. Not that Ry laughed much but that was really beside the point. All Purebloods were messed up; it was just how things worked out. It was apart of the process, the way the traditions all worked out, many of which Ry scoffed at and didn’t bother following. He was a Pureblood mum’s worst nightmare, something he was told often, mind you. His mum made sure to tell him of his downfalls all the time and he was not looking forward to her finding this news out. Ry made another grave error and Pey was even more perfect. He really hoped Pey would knock someone up before their mum found out about Ju.
“My face is better looking than the poor excuse you call a face,” Ry shot back, waggling his eyebrows. Joking was far better than worrying about everything going on around them that was for sure. “I should win an award for having to look at you all the time.” Ry gave a deep sigh, flopping back on his bed. His guards were let down a little when Ju was around, not much, but enough so that he wasn’t snarls all the time. “You do because I’m the only one who wants to put up with all your moods and the only one who will tell you to shut your face up.” Everyone needed someone to tell them that, after all. Ry was doing the world a service, really. Again, he needed another award for that.
Ry let out a mock choked sound as if he was truly hurt by that statement. “You are so rude. I’m the nice one in this friendship. Let’s just be honest right now.” Ry was hardly if ever nice because he did not see the point, especially when it would just cause people to talk to him about inane things that he did not care about. No, he did not need to be social whatsoever.
