Juliet wrinkled her nose in distaste, frowning over at him. "That's unfortunate," she told him. "It's times like these that I'm so glad I'm not a Pureblood," she finished with a shake of her head. She'd be the worst Pureblood ever, to be honest. She probably would've been disowned by now, considering she was all for muggles and muggleborns and, you know, getting around. She'd have, like, disgraced the Pureblood name or some junk like that. And she definitely wouldn't be down with getting engaged off to some stuffy Pureblood, no sir. She couldn't even begin to imagine how Ry would react to that. It would be amusing to watch, that was for sure.
"I mean, we don't, you know, have to," she said quickly, shrugging at him. She didn't want to freak him out, after all! She'd only just told him she was pregnant, she didn't figure he wanted to talk about things like this right now. She watched him quietly, starting to braid her hair like she always did when she was nervous. She always tried her hardest to make Ry feel like he was worth something, and she told him she loved him all the time. She figured he needed it, but she knew it wasn't really the same. She'd never loved him as anything more than a best friend, you see, and she figured he needed something more than that. She'd tried to set him up with plenty of girls - even a boy once, because you never know, but he'd gotten more than a little irritated about that - but he never seemed to click with any of them. It made her a little sad, really.
She grinned at him, shaking her head in amusement. "But maybe you'd look better without a face, so I'd actually be doing you a favor," she told him with a laugh. This was why she adored Ryden, really. She could tease with him and he could tease with her, and she always felt special because of that, because she knew he didn't like many people. But she was like the exception to the rule, and come on, who doesn't like being the exception to the rule? "How rude!" she gasped, shaking her head at him. "I don't know why I put up with you," she told him with an exasperated sigh, but she was grinning. "You know what?" she said, "that's true, which is pretty unfortunate. I mean, let's be honest, you're not the greatest person around," she said with a disappointed frown and a shrug, her eyes twinkling with amusement.
