Marlene was pulled out of her brief moment of stupor by a rather familiar voice calling out her name. She looked up and noticed one Adele Smith in front of her. "Adele!" exclaimed Marlene as she reached across the table to give her friend a hug. "Heh, if standing in the middle of Diagon Alley rambling about my job constitutes as fun, then yeah, sure!" she replied, with a sarcastic lilt to her tone. She leaned towards Adele and said in a hushed tones, "Actually, it's dead boring. I just stand here and pass out pamphlets. Not really sure why or how I got plucked to sit around on my arse here." She grinned cheekily at Adele.
"So," she interjected, as she drummed her fingers on the table before her. "How's tricks? What brings you over to the career fair on this fine day?"
