"I didn't really expect anyone else to know what to do," Remus shrugged, smiling easily enough despite his words. It wasn't that if he couldn't figure it out, no one else would (he knew he was probably the worst right now since he was stuck in the middle), just that it was a difficult situation. And honestly, he was starting to think there was no reason to fret over it all. Mostly.
"Oh good, I don't think RJ fits me at all," he playfully nudged her with his elbow, letting out a chuckle. "Oh quite a pair indeed." They were definitely in similar situations, and Remus found that he could even relate to James at times, too. He wondered if that made him the best candidate for their go between, not that he was making much progress with that.
"So have you decided what you want to do with your life, Miss Evans?" In order to soak up the day even better, Remus laid back and sprawled out on the grass, watching the largest, puffiest cloud start to make its way across the sky.
