As the ride progressed, Remus grew more accustomed to everything and he could finally enjoy the wind pushing against what exposed skin he had, the world passing by in an indistinguishable blur and the close proximity he had to the boy in front of him. Remus might not be happy being that close to just anyone, but Sirius just...got him in a way no one else had. Not in an understanding way, but in regards to his attention. There was something about his frustrating stubbornness and overly passionate emotions and that natural confidence he always wore.
And so Remus held on, occasionally shifting to give his hands an excuse to move over the flat surface they rested on, his legs rubbing against the outside of Sirius'. Even the acceleration was exhilirating and he laughed in Sirius' ear when he yelled. He had no idea where they were going, if they even had a destination, but that didn't matter because the ride was just as fun as being somewhere if not more. It was certainly getting his blood pumping, after all.
