Remus didn't see how a bike could have a gender - much less of the female variety - but he wasn't about to argue the semantics of it. Honestly, he was more excited for an adrenaline rushing ride than most people would probably expect him to be. Quiet Remus, shy Remus. How could he be one of them? It just simply worked.
"Do I at least get a helmet...?" He asked as he came closer, and when he was there, he hoisted a leg up and missed. Well, it wasn't so much a miss as a miscalculation that didn't get him far enough. Knitting his face up all tight, he tried again until his leg actually made it over the bike and he was straddling the seat behind Sirius. Although, being him, it also meant he left some space between the two, ready to grab Sirius' shoulders if he had to because of an unexpected jerk from the vehicle.
