"It was cheating," Regulus reassured Remus though somehow managed to keep the scorn out of his tone. He grinned at his brother's friend momentarily then dragged his eyes back around to Sirius, eying the boy briefly before he was distracted again by the massive music hall and the people within it. Sure, the music had been fine and fun and beautifully performed as far as he could tell.. but, this world wasn't his and he had no desire to be part of it beyond these little moments. Which was why, now that the music was over, Regulus' thoughts swam back to the idea of going home.
Home was the wizarding world, and Grimmauld Place, the only place he ever wanted to be most of the time. Given that, Regulus brushed a hand over his clothes to smooth out the wrinkles from the night and eventually pushed himself up to his feet again, returning to that cold standard of Black with the haughty expression and attitude that bordered on disdainful disregard for everything he didn't like.
"I'm ready to go home," he said airily, looking at both boys with his blue eyes.
