Sirius definitely knew what he was doing because that moment of silence, the waiting, was a little agonizing. After saying so much, so heart-felt, it was weird to just...stand there and wait. Like being naked, exposed, raw. Lately he'd been showing a lot more to Sirius than he'd ever wanted or intended to and he wasn't sure how he felt about it all. Maybe asking for a change of pace was wrong - was this karma?
And all he got was an okay. It was disappointing, really, but it sounded like everything was alright, or as alright as it could be. No, everything wasn't magically fixed and better, back to the way it was before, but it was a start. And now it was just awkward because Remus had nothing else to say. He was just standing there, adrenaline pumping more than he ever needed for something like this.
