The relief that came from seeing two of his best friends run in rather than strangers coming to do even worse was so tremendous. Actually, it was knowing that he was safe and going to get out of this; that his friends had in fact come to save him instead of letting him rot (not that he ever doubted they would at least try). He let out a breath he wasn't aware of holding and used the wall to stand up. Thankfully he'd be given the shirt to cover anything important, though it still felt awkward, like a dress, and he was relatively clean.
"I'm okay," he nodded, unable to hold back a smile. His hand grabbed Sirius' arm for just a few seconds, making sure this was actually happening. It still could have been a dream but he decided not to think about that. Remus looked from Sirius to James, smiling proudly at them both and wanting to hug them just as much. Merlin he'd missed them.
"If you can just use a spell on the chain, we can get out and worry about the rest later." A little more pain was nothing next to being stuck any longer and Remus didn't want anyone to suffer in a battle, especially if more people showed up.
