There was an understanding between them that most people probably wouldn't get. Most people were healthy in their young lives; very few understood the toll it could take on a person to expect to be unhealthy, for whatever reason, for the rest of their lives. That was something Adele shared with Remus that she didn't share with anyone else, and being able to talk about and keep each other company in their weakest moments, to be able to completely empathize with that, was something that she treasured.
"Thank you," she said happily. "I'm going to enjoy it as long as it lasts." She was not pessimistic about it in the least, simply realistic. "Oh, yes. I was thinking I'd take you to somewhere I haven't been before - somewhere we can explore and discover together. I usually have my brother to be my guide, he's been everywhere - but I think it would be exciting to have a go on my own, don't you?"
She grinned. "You needn't worry about it. I know translation charms, and the places to get money changed properly before we go, and I've traveled enough that I'm sure we'll be fine. Besides, if anything goes wrong, my brother will help us."
She really didn't think anything would go wrong, though. Between her and Remus, they could surely tackle any problem they encountered.
