It was very unusual for Adele to be the visitor rather than the patient, and if Remus had actually been grievously sick or injured, she would not have seen it as a novelty in the slightest. People being sick tended to be harder on the people who had to watch it and wish that they could do something about it. Adele had for the most part accepted her lot in life - although she felt extremely healthy right now, Salazar knew how long that would last - but Sebastian still traveled the globe getting sunburned where the sun never shone and Merlin knew what else trying to save her.
Adele knew that it gave him hope, so she had never attempted to stop him, even though hope could be a terrible thing. There was no reason not to expect Remus to be completely better in the next few days, however. She certainly took his lycanthropy seriously, and understood the toll it could take on a person to regularly feel unwell, but she wasn't worried about him leaving the mortal world behind while she sat here at his bedside.
"Thank you," she said. "That's the most exciting news, I suppose. Guess how long it's been since I've been in a hospital bed?"
