Adele smiled at him when he opened his eyes. She would have been happy to sit and wait for him to wake - she could appreciate how important it was to rest in order to get well. After graduating Hogwarts, she'd finally been able to take up the habit of sleeping for a bare minimum of nine hours per night, which she had found nearly impossible with all of her schoolwork and early morning classes. Her health was the main reason why she didn't have a job.
"Hello," she said, with genuine affection for her friend. "You look better than the last time I saw you like this."
Significantly less scratched up, which was a good thing. She didn't know whether to attribute that to the difference in being at home rather than at Hogwarts, or something else. It didn't really matter, though. Whatever the explanation, it was a good thing.
