"A very good question...But aren't we here to forget?" He counterered, leaning his body back lazily against the nearest surface as he pondered the question quite thoroughly before answering. "I took a risk of my own that I am unsure will be beneficial in the scheme of things. A rather large risk, and I am not the sort to like losing a gamble." To that he drank, so obviously sore on the subject. But the latter question diverted him enough to abandon deeper contemplation.
"I suppose it is the risk that you may trust me. Then again, it is a poor challenge. You watch me drink from the same bottle. It is an inebriation I prefer at times over the depths liquor might offer. Certainly nothing that isn't wholly enjoyable. But then, you'll have to trust me on that, and therein lies your risk."
