Lily gave a small laugh, "Yes, well, it would have been hard to impress me being so far apart." She was glad this had worked between them before school started back up. She didn't want him doing anything crazy for her sake, after all. While she knew crazy was going to be expected of them considering their allegiance, she would still worry for him, not being able to see him every day and knowing that he was okay.
Sighing, she dipped her head, hands falling to play at the hem of his shirt. "I think we have to steel ourselves for the distinct possibility that it might very well be months. What if the new regime at the school makes it impossible for you to sneak out? What if it's too dangerous? We're going to have to do a lot of dangerous things, I think, in the coming months, or years and I don't want you to tempt fate by adding sneaking out to see me to the list if it's too dangerous." The thought of it was overwhelming but Lily refused to let it get her down. They had two weeks together and she wasn't going to let it be overshadowed by a time when he wouldn't be here.
Suddenly wanting nothing more than to be close to James, she moved into his lap and rested against him. "I want a whole day of eating nothing but desserts that I didn't make. And we should go camping one night since we don't really have time to make a long trip of it. I want to have dinner at my parents' house and I want to invite your parents to join us and we should go see a movie at a movie theater because that's an essential part of a Muggle summer. I want to do something crazy, but that's your area of expertise." She smirked playfully at the last bit. It was true, aside from fish slapping, Lily wasn't the one that was the best at crazy, spontaneous ideas in this relationship. Well, okay, the dragon reserve had been awesome.
