Remus was used to having a life of secrecy. If it weren't for the lycanthropy, perhaps things would be different; Remus himself would definitely be a different person, but he knew he'd be a quiet, keep-to-himself type no matter what. That's just how he was as Sirius was open. Even when it came to trivial subjects, he was simply better at not saying anything.
"This is one thing I haven't spent too much time thinking about," he started as he looked away. When it came to something that might hurt, he preferred to not put much into it if he could. "There's nothing that really makes me think your feelings might change, it's just a possibility," Remus gave a shrug, but at the same time his arm curled a little tighter around Sirius' middle. "But...no. I know there's more. There has to be."
