It wasn't hard anymore, to let those thoughts slide, since Remus was mostly over the whole situation. He still didn't fancy becoming a murderer, even if he couldn't control it, and remained feeling guilty for Snape, but those were things he dealt with. It was easy until Snape actually got involved.
"Just can't help myself," Remus rolled his eyes, but he was still smiling. Yes, that was half of the reason he had snorted - because of the dirty implications that he was fine keeping to himself. But that next comment made him stop with a surprised sort of expression. "I am not," he said lightly, though it sounded like a fact coming from his lips, and yet he was questioning it, wanting evidence.
