NEW HEADMASTER: HOGWARTS IS PROTECTED
By Francis Solveig, Journalist
July 6th – Early this morning an announcement was made regarding the empty post of Headmaster of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Although long debates have been argued recently over who may succeed the late Albus Dumbledore to the position, no official statements had been made regarding the subject. At last, the Ministry of Magic have announced their choice for succession as none other than the now ex-Unspeakable Augustus Rookwood (as pictured on the right, dated 1976).
In the same announcement declaring Rookwood the new Headmaster, the man himself made several promises to the future attendees of Hogwarts; first and foremost assuring the students that no harm will come to them while it is his duty to supervise the school. Mr. Rookwood stated that his first priority would “always be the preserving and cultivating of the culture and assured future of our race; a worry which perhaps has been ignored by school authorities in years previous.”
It is well known that Mr. Rookwood is close friends with the newly announced Minister for Magic, Mr. Darius Bagman. As of now no new programs resulting from the ties bringing Hogwarts and the Ministry closer together have been mentioned, however the public may still hold to hope that a new era for Hogwarts School has arrived. (For more on Mr. Rookwood, see page 6. For an analysis on the previous Hogwarts Headmasters, see page 2 ½.)
