"Thanks," he replied, entering the house with just a glance over his shoulder at what seemed to be darkening clouds - right over the place they were going. It was an ominous scene and he narrowed his eyes in that direction, but got distracted once she mentioned food.
"Starving," Remus said more out of politeness than actual hunger, though he could definitely eat. So he removed his blazer and hung it on the back of one of the chairs at the table and sat at another. "What, no brilliant desserts, too?" It was a joke accompanied by a small smile.
Of course he wanted to bring up her reasons for not returning to Hogwarts, though he could pretty much guess them at this point. He didn't necessarily agree but at the same time he could understand. Even he was nervous about returning and so far it only seemed bad if you were a Dumbledore supporter and, they assumed, a muggle born.
